1. Not Legal Advice — Critical Disclaimer
PaperLens is an AI-powered document comprehension tool. It is NOT a law firm, does NOT provide legal advice, and is NOT a substitute for consultation with a licensed attorney, CPA, financial advisor, or other qualified professional.
The summaries, urgency classifications, and action recommendations generated by PaperLens are informational in nature only. They reflect a probabilistic interpretation of document text by an AI language model and may contain errors, omissions, or misclassifications.
Specifically, PaperLens output should not be relied upon for:
- Determining your legal rights or obligations
- Responding to official government notices or legal proceedings
- Making financial decisions based on document contents
- Assessing compliance with laws, regulations, or contracts
- Any situation where professional judgment is legally required
For any document involving a potential legal obligation, financial penalty, or court proceeding, you should consult a qualified professional before taking action. PaperLens is a starting point, not a final answer.
2. User Responsibilities
